Real Madrid FC has a strong network of hundreds of official fan clubs worldwide, called “Peñas”. If you have fifty or more people in your area that wish to create a Peña, here’s information on how to gain “official” status.
Being part of an official pena gives you preferential treatment if you are traveling to Madrid and want to get tickets to see your team play at the sold-out Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
- Put together all your information. Include your name and contact information, all information about the officers of the club (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, etc.), your official meeting place, and the names and emails addresses for the 50+ members you have enlisted to be part of the club.
- Send all documentation to Alfredo Escobar Cancho at Real Madrid - aescobar@realmadrid.es.
- Please note that your peña cannot bear the name of a current or former player from Real Madrid.
- Once approved, your club and contact information will be listed on RealMadrid.com, the club’s official website.
Let us help you enlist members for your club! Just forward your name and contact information to us and a few lines about what you are trying to accomplish. We will post this on our website, with your location and contact information and help push fans in your direction.
Once you gain “official” status – be sure to let us know and we will include this on the RealMadridAmerica.com site and can stay in touch with you about any Real Madrid events or activities taking place in your part of the country.
